What to Expect

The first visit opens with a conversation about your personal and medical history followed by a diagnostic exam, listening to the pulses, and an initial treatment. It is during this visit that I begin to discern a treatment plan that will be appropriate for and unique to you, the individual. The initial visit is two hours long. Subsequent treatments typically run for an hour and include a brief check-in. Only one patient is scheduled at a time.

Insurance Coverage

If a client's insurance covers acupuncture, I will prepare the appropriate forms to request a reimbursement. Prior to beginning our work together, please contact your insurance company to determine whether acupuncture will be covered. I am happy to be of assistance in this process if necessary. Payment is requested at time of visit.  

Cancellation Policy

Please notify me at least twenty four hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Otherwise, a charge will be made, unless there is an emergency.

Office Location

Located at 123 Borland Hill Road in Nobleboro, Maine 04555. The neighborhood is known as Damariscotta Mills. I work in a renovated yellow church. 

Coming north on Route 1, take the Damariscotta/Newcastle exit. Come down the hill and continue straight ahead to intersection stop sign. Continue straight across onto Route 215, north and continue 2 miles. Turn left at the sign for Route 215. Pass Alewives Fabrics on your left and the first street on your right is Borland Hill Road. Office is at 123 Borland Hill Road, a yellow church on left. 

Coming south on Rt 1, take the exit for Rt 215/Damariscotta Mills. (Louis Doe Home Center is across the road on Rt 215). Turn right on Rt 215 north and continue 1.9 miles. Follow the Route 215 sign, and turn left. Pass Alewives Fabrics on left. The first street on right is Borland Hill Road. Office is at 123 Borland Hill Road, a yellow church on left.

Coming from inland, take Route 194 which becomes Route 215 into Damariscotta Mills. At stop sign take left on Route 215 and take next left to stay on Route 215. Pass Alewives Fabrics on left and the first street on your right is Borland Hill Road. Office is at 123 Borland Hill Road, a yellow church on left.
